Andrew is an experienced private equity investor with hands on operational experience of leading organisations through growth.

Andrew has held a number of senior roles in private equity, c-suite leadership and as a PE operating partner. Starting his career at PwC and qualifying as an accountant before moving to NatWest Markets, Andrew gained considerable experience in M&A, investment banking and private equity, culminating in being part of the leadership team that raised the successful £1.1bn RBS Special Opportunities Fund.

Seeking operational experience Andrew subsequently joined Dixons Retail plc and, with the CEO, led a transformation program and subsequent merger with Carphone Warehouse plc in a £3.6bn listed transaction. Further building his operational exposure Andrew became integration director post merger (delivering in excess of £80m of synergies), as well as continuing in the Chief Strategy Officer role and a period as CEO of the services division.

Drawing on both parts of his career, Andrew subsequently worked with private equity house Three Hills Capital Partners, leading a team of operating partners.

Andrew joined THI in early 2023, attracted by the very distinct proposition combining pan European flexible capital, entrepreneurial DNA and an embedded focus on supporting portfolio companies maximise growth with strategic planning and operational effectiveness.

When not at work Andrew enjoys fitness, the arts, travel and classic cars.
