Before joining THI in August 2022, Elmar had worked in the commercial real estate sector for more than 20 years, and had held positions in Real Estate consulting at Cushman & Wakefield in Frankfurt, and at Colliers in Hamburg. After switching to the landlord side in 2010, he held various asset management positions for GE Capital, Aroundtown and Officefirst/Blackstone.

Elmar has an education as a Real Estate Merchant and complemented this with a degree as Diplom-Immobilienoekonom in 2009.

He spends most of his free time doing sports such as mountain biking, fitness, skiing and sailing.
